Vi a notícia num jornal local...uma livraria dedicada a Banda Desenhada na ilha da Madeira. Decidi ir lá ter logo no primeiro dia. Cheguei ao primeiro andar de um edifício antigo na Rua Câmara Pestana...o chão de madeira rangia em cada passo que dava..ao passar a porta vi uma figura que folheava uma B.D. da Marvel...meti conversa calmamente e perguntei se por acaso vendiam livros "How to Draw"... obtive resposta "- Temos alguns, mas se quiser algo especializado, podemos encomendar..."
A partir daí a conversa fluiu...perguntei se era o dono, que logo respondeu afirmativamente. Logo fui questionado se também desenhava...disse que sim...daí então a conversa se alongou por várias horas, onde foram abordados vários assuntos relacionados com Comics...foi a primeira vez que fui à Sétima Dimensão e falei com o Roberto Alves...
I saw the news in the local paper ... a bookstore dedicated to Comics, is now open on Madeira Island. I decided to go there right on the first day. I reached the first floor of an old building on Rua Câmara Pestana Funchal... the wooden floor creaked at every step...right through the door I saw a figure that was flipping pages of a Marvel Comic ... asked if by chance they were selling books "How to Draw " ... I got the reply " - We have some, but if you want something specialized, we can order ..."
Short after that, we were talking about all kinds of comic book related themes, for a couple of hours. That was the first time e talked with Roberto Alves, the owner of the 7th Dimension Bookstore.
